Canape Club

The Urban Caprice Canape Club is a hands-on event making experience covering a range of seasonal canapes and mini dishes.  

The occasional classes take place at Urban Caprice’s kitchens in Goldney Road, London W9 2AR and are led by Executive Chef, Iain Graham.  For more information or to be included in the mailing list with future dates email events@urbancaprice.co.uk.

In order to ensure everyone is fully involved places are limited to 14 per class. Everything that you need will be provided on the day, with detailed recipes and fact sheets to take home.

The menu reflects the season (for example the October class included):

Roasted butternut squash and walnut
Wedges of roast butternut squash served with walnut pesto and crisped sage

Glugg, pears and Blue Monday
Crumbled blue cheese with chicory, glugg poached pears and black mustard

Beetroot and goat’s curd
Roasted golden beetroot served with shallot relish, goat’s curd and wild wood sorrel

Shetland lamb and barley
Slow-cooked lamb hot pot served on a pearl barley cake with crisped heritage potato

Black pudding cheese straws
Freshly baked puff pastry pillows filled with Highland black pudding and Montgomery Cheddar

Red-legged partridge and cognac
Ballotine of red-legged partridge, cognac soused mushrooms and pain d'epice

Galloway beef tartare with wood sorrel
Finely diced fillet of beef served with shallot rings, wood sorrel and juniper salt

Loch Duart salmon with fennel, currants and ginger
Pan-seared tournedos of salmon served with currant puree, shaved fennel and stem ginger palmiers

Fillet Tolstoy and marinated beetroot
The finest smoked salmon served with horseradish crème fraîche marinated beetroot and rye toasts

We can also create exclusive canape clubs for small groups of 8-14 people with bespoke menus.  Prices for exclusive bookings start from £175 per person.
